Miemie is a qualified Tax Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in tax and accounting consulting. She began her career in 1990 and joined Optima Tax and Accounting in 2018, bringing extensive expertise and a passion for helping clients meet their responsibilities with confidence.

Her work includes personal income tax, accounting, estate administration, and direct interaction with SARS – including tax return preparation and query resolution. She also specialises in reporting deceased estates to SARS, including coding estates as deceased and obtaining the Deceased Estate Compliance (DEC) letters. She works closely with individuals, freelancers, and small business owners.
